Boating in the Florida Panhandle: What You Need To Know
Florida Panhandle is a fantastic location for boating. There are so many waterways to explore, scenic views to enjoy, and even wildlife to spot. Before you start your adventure, check out these essential tips.
1. Know the Florida Boat Regulations
2. Dolphin Viewing
Destin and the Choctawhatchee Bay are great places to see dolphins. The best time is around 6 pm in the evening. From Adventure Marina you can book a Dolphin tour. You can also launch your boat at our boat ramp and take your boat to Destin and the bay from our marina. Adventure Marina is located about 3 nautical miles from Destin and between fort Walton beach and Destin you can see dozens of dolphins up close in the bay. Power up watersports is located at Adventure marine and the book dolphin cruises.
3. Destin 'The Luckiest Fishing Village"
The city's proximity to the 100-fathom curve—where the continental shelf's depths plunge deeper than anywhere else in the Gulf of Mexico—makes it an unparalleled destination for deep-sea fishing. Destin boasts the widest variety of fish species in the area, direct access to the Gulf of Mexico, and the nation's largest commercial fishing fleet.
Even though Adventure Marina is located on Okaloosa Island we are only 10 minutes to Destin by water or land.
