Brooks Bridge Replacement

Construction Breaks Ground

The brooks bridge is being replaced with a 6 Lane bridge that will eliminate traffic lights at Santa Rosa Blvd. and Perry Ave. The bridge is scheduled to be completed by the summer of 2026. We are very excited for the new bridge and some of the features it will bring to the island. We at Adventure Marina really believe that the new bridge will bring more growth to Okaloosa Island and improve the accessibility. New sidewalks and a golf cart path will make staying on Okaloosa Island a real park, stay and Play destination on the Florida Panhandle.

Bridge Impacts

The construction definitely impacts Adventure Marina. We are still accessible from Destin and Fort Walton Beach. We are also assessable via water along the Santa Rosa Sound. Please watch for changes in traffic patterns and construction workers present when entering an exiting the marina with your boat and trailer.
